The wooden, onion shaped Dome of the Church tower houses a powerful Bell with a dark sound of Fate.

The Vikings send a bribed envoy to forward a letter. It is written on Birch bark, stating that there is a delegation of Vikings requesting reception of the King to discuss business.

The messanger, bribed by the Vikings with coins and brew soon returns with an invitation to Dinner at the Castle this same evening. Entertainment with circus, tricks, a dance performance and good food is offered.
...

King Rurik has seated his guests at a long table to enjoy the offerings of food and entertainment.

The Vikings have hidden their short swords under their clothing and devour their food following the program with wide open eyes. They are exchanging cunning looks at each other, thinking of things to come. They are thinking of deceipt, robbery and riches.

The performances of the entertainment include throwing of dwarves, stunts by jokers, joggling, flame eating
and an illusion.
