When the circus acts are done, they are followed by a Russian circle waltz, where 12 Ukrainian blonde girls dance. These girls
have been sent by king Ruriks brother Truvor reigning in Kiev. King Rurik is to choose one of the girls to get a job as a
maid. Her Job is to massage, bathe and dress the King to prepare him for the Nights rest with the Queen. The first girl smells
bad, so the King rejects her, the dancing circle turns more and a second girl is chosen for the task. She is overwhelmingly
happy to get this Royal appointment.
